Not at the stadium on Tuesday? Here’s how to watch the Eastern Conference Championship

Alas, there are “only” 61,004 seats at the Olympic Stadium. If you haven’t secured a ticket, no worries. We’ve got you covered.

Here are some of the reasons why you should watch the home leg of the Eastern Conference Championship between the Impact and Toronto FC on TV, even though you couldn’t get your hands on a ticket.

Because avoiding the broadcast will be a tough ask

The stakes were too high to do otherwise. Even though the Montreal Canadiens are playing the Ottawa Senators on that same night, RDS’ main channel will broadcast this Conference Championship, starting with a pregame show at 7pm with Claudine Douville, Jean Gounelle, Patrick Leduc, Olivier Brett and Patrick Friolet. The game will kick off at 8pm and be also broadcast on TSN3, 985sports.ca and CJAD 800 in Canada, as well as on ESPN and ESPN Deportes in the United States and on several other channels worldwide.

Not at the stadium on Tuesday? Here’s how to watch the Eastern Conference Championship -

Because there’s a viewing party near you

With more than 50 locations in Quebec, our partner La Cage – Brasserie sportive is expecting you for this great event. The Montreal-Toronto game will be shown in all locations, from Abitibi to Lower St. Lawrence. And with its menu that offers you a fresh and tasty meal, everyone can find a match (bad pun intended). Bring along your friends and turn the Cage bleu-blanc-noir!

Because being home does give you some freedom

Let’s make one thing absolutely clear: nothing comes close to the game day experience at the stadium or at La Cage. But if you can’t make it, watching the game at home does come with some perks. You can drink and eat whatever you want, like the Nachos Piatti recipe that our friends at MLSsoccer.com put together. And there won’t be a queue for the restroom, unless all of your friends that couldn’t get a ticket join you at your home.

Because the Impact needs support from all over Quebec

#TousPourLaCoupe isn’t just a catchy hashtag. Supporters from all areas of Quebec will make it to Montreal on a Tuesday to attend Montreal-Toronto. But we understand that everyone can’t get a day off from work for a 10-hour, 15-hour or even 20-hour round trip (we salute and love you, Gaspé). Whether you be in Chicoutimi, Rimouski or Matagami on the evening of Tuesday, November 22, join us for this historic game.
