MIAMI, Florida – CF Montréal will kick off a three-match road stretch (including a Canadian Championship match) when it visits Nu Stadium for the first time and opposes Inter Miami CF on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
The Montréal side will look to extend its unbeaten streak to five matches after drawing 2-2 against LA Galaxy last Saturday. The Bleu-blanc-noir has an overall record of 6-6-1 (20 goals scored, 22 conceded) against Miami, including a 3-3-0 record (11 goals scored, 11 conceded) on the road. The last meeting between the two teams took place on July 25, when Philippe Eullaffroy’s squad lost 1-0 at home on a penalty converted by Luis Suárez.
Inter Miami CF, meanwhile, will look to bounce back after a 2-1 loss to Toronto FC last Saturday. The match will see Alexis Sánchez reunite with Lionel Messi, with whom he played at FC Barcelona from 2011 to 2014.
Prince Owusu will also be a player to watch. The Ghanaian striker is currently on a four-match scoring streak. Should he score again on Saturday night, he would match two significant Club records -- the Club's MLS-era record of five consecutive matches with at least one goal, set by Ignacio Piatti in 2017, while equalling the high-water mark for most goals scored on the road in a single season (9 -- Piatti, 2016 and Owusu, 2025).
