MONTREAL – The Canadian Men’s national team has selected defenders Kamal Miller and Joel Waterman, as well as midfielder Samuel Piette, for two FIFA World Cup qualifying games, ahead of the tournament in Qatar in 2022.
Canada will play its first game on March 25 against Bermuda in Orlando, followed by the Cayman Islands on March 28, in Bradenton.
30 Concacaf nations will play the first round games and the six group winners will qualify to an elimination round. Canada finds itself in Group B with the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Aruba and Suriname.
