"This training stint is part of a continuing effort by the Club to increase synergy with Bologna," said CF Montréal Vice-President and Chief Sporting Officer Olivier Renard. "This is an excellent opportunity for them to prove that they can compete in a different high-level environment. They will be able to continue their soccer development here and return to Montreal with more experience."

Alessandro Biello, a 17-year-old midfielder, joined the organization via the CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2014. He was recently selected by the Canadian team that took part in the U17 World Cup last November.

A product of AS Mascouche (now Union Lanaudière Sud), 16-year-old midfielder Emrick Fotsing joined the CF Montréal Academy from AS Blainville in 2021.

Gaël de Montigny, a 17-year-old fullback recently selected for the MLS NEXT All-Star Game, also made his debut with the CF Montreal Pre-Academy in 2016. He also represented Canada at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
