MONTREAL – Forward Romell Quioto has been selected by the Honduras national team for the 2021 Gold Cup from July 10 to August 1.
Honduras is in group D and will face Grenada on Tuesday, July 13, at 9pm, Panama on Saturday, July 17, at 9:30pm and Qatar on Tuesday, July 20, at 9pm. The two teams at the top of the group will qualify for the quarterfinals.
Quioto made his debut with the senior Honduras national team on March 1, 2012, and played a total of 47 games at the senior level, scoring eight goals for his country. He will join the Honduras team after the CF Montréal game on July 7 against New York City FC.
