The Montreal Impact unveils its CONCACAF Champions League schedule

MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact, winners of the 2013 Amway Canadian Championship, unveiled on Monday its schedule for the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League.


Playing in group 5, the Impact will face the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) and C.D. Heredia (Guatemala). Each team will face each other twice, at home and on the road.


The Impact’s four matches are set for:


  • Wednesday, August 7, 2013 – 8pm (ET): Montreal Impact vs. San Jose - Stade Saputo

  • Wednesday, August 21, 2013 – 10pm (ET): Montreal Impact @ C.D. Heredia – Guatemala

  • Tuesday, September 17, 2013 – 10pm (ET): Montreal Impact @ San Jose – Buck Shaw Stadium

  • Tuesday, September 24, 2013 – 8pm (ET): Montreal Impact vs. C.D. Heredia – Stade Saputo 


Tickets go on sale July 10

Ticket prices range from $20 to $45, while children’s ticket prices for certain sections are set at $10 (taxes included, service charges may apply). Group rates, packages for soccer clubs as well as special packages for the two matches will be available. 


Tickets for the two games at Stade Saputo will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 10 at 10am via the Admission Network (admission.com / 1-855-790-1245).


Priority to Season ticket holders

Season ticket holders will be given an exclusive priority to reserve their seats for the two games, starting tomorrow at noon and running through to Tuesday, July 9. Season ticket holders will be given 25% off on one game ticket purchase or 50% off if purchasing tickets for both games.


Mini-season ticket holders (3, 6, 9 games) will also be offered a preferential rate via email.


Other Group 5 games

Please note that C.D. Heredia and San Jose will be facing off on August 28 in Guatemala and then on October 23 at Buck Shaw Stadium.


Heredia Jaguares de Peten was founded as Deportivo Heredia in 1958. The club has been based in San Jose, Peten since summer 2008 after the team moved from Morales due to poor attendance, changing its name. Made up of mostly Guatemalan players, Heredia does count a couple of Colombians, an Argentinian and a Uruguayan amongst its ranks.
