MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact eSport player mehdibob3, presented by BMO, will be in action this Friday, June 26, in the Last Chance Qualifier tournament, an eMLS online event that gives him the chance to qualify for the last place in the eMLS Cup playoffs, presented by Coca-Cola and PlayStation, on Sunday, June 28.
The online tournament will be played between the 14 players that didn’t qualify for the eMLS Cup playoffs. He will face JKO, from the New England Revolution, at 1pm. If he wins, he will go to the next round. Mehdibob3 has to win the tournament, which represents a maximum of four rounds, to qualify for the last place available in the eMLS Cup playoffs.
All of his games will be broadcast on the Montreal Impact facebook page and on mehdibob3’s Twitch account.
On top of being declared eMLS Cup champion, the winner on Sunday will also get $20,000 in prize money.
