MONTREAL – Following a 40-day training camp, the Montreal Impact will finally kick off its second season in MLS and the 20th of its history this Saturday at 10:30pm (ET) against the Sounders in Seattle.
On TV and Radio
The game will be televised live on TVA Sports, but will also be broadcast on the radio on CJAD 800 in English and 98.5FM in French.
Viewing Party
The Impact and its administrative staff will be hosting two viewing parties on Saturday night, at Champs Bar (3956 St-Laurent Blvd. Montreal) and at the Cage aux Sports - Place Versailles (7275 Sherbrooke E, Montreal).
A few of the players from the first team as well as members of the 127 Montreal supporters group will be on hand at Champs, while the Cage aux Sports will be offering a free drink to those in attendance for the game, along with hosting some of the club’s Academy players, on site to watch the game with fans.
Home opener
The 25 roster players donned the third jersey at yesterday’s presentation ceremony, as part of the official launch of the club’s 20th anniversary. They will have the chance to play in those jerseys for the first time on March 16, at 4pm (ET) against Toronto FC, in the club’s home opener at Olympic Stadium.
