MONTREAL - The Club announced on Thursday that six players from CF Montréal Academy and two players from Bologna FC Academy have been invited to start the first team training camp, presented by Allstate Insurance, beginning next Monday at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona.

They are goalkeeper Judewellin Michel (reserve team – CF Montréal Academy), defenders Gaël De Montigny (reserve team – CF Montréal Academy), and Sergei Kozlovskiy (U17 – CF Montréal Academy), midfielders Alessandro Biello (reserve team – CF Montréal Academy), Emrick Fotsing (U17 - CF Montréal Academy), Jesse Saputo (U17 - Bologna FC Academy) and Matteo Schiavoni (Primavera U19 - Bologna FC Academy), as well as forward Sebastien Joseph (U17 - CF Montréal Academy).

Judewellin Michel, reserve team goalkeeper since 2023, played with Montreal North before moving to CS Saint-Laurent. His performances in Ligue1 Québec allowed him at 19 to train with the professional squad on several occasions last season.

Gaël De Montigny, a 17-year-old left-back trained at AS Mascouche (now Union Lanaudière Sud), had been selected for the MLS NEXT 2023 All-Star Game. He made his debut with CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2016. He represented Canada at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia.

Sergei Kozlovskiy, a 15-year-old left-footed central defender, joined the Club in 2022. Trained at CS Longueuil, he earned four caps for the Canadian national team at the Concacaf U15 Championship last summer, before being included on the reserve list for the U17 World Cup in November.

Alessandro Biello, a 17-year-old midfielder, made his debut with AS Saint-Léonard before joining the organization via CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2014. He was recently selected by the Canadian national team for the U17 World Cup last November.

Emrick Fotsing, a 16-year-old midfielder developed at AS Mascouche, joined CF Montréal Academy from AS Blainville in 2021. Captain of the U17 team, he was recently invited to take part in a training camp with Bologna FC Academy last December.

Jesse Saputo, a 16-year-old attacking midfielder, joined the organization via CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2015 after three years with CS Mont-Royal Outremont. He joined the Bologna FC Academy last September.

Matteo Schiavoni, an 18-year-old midfielder, made his debut with Lachine SC before joining CF Montréal Academy in 2019 at the U14 level. The Canadian-Italian player had already taken part in the first team training camp in 2022. He then joined the Bologna FC Academy in August of the same year.

Sebastien Joseph, 17-year-old left-footed striker and Haitian U17 international, joined CF Montréal Academy in 2022 from CS Braves d'Ahuntsic. He has scored nine goals since the start of the MLS NEXT season in September.

The full squad that will fly to Arizona on Monday will be announced at a later date.
