CF Montréal exercises options on four players for the 2024 season

MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced Friday it has exercised the contract options of four players for the 2024 season.

The Club has exercised the contract options of goalkeeper Logan Ketterer, defenders Róbert Thorkelsson and Ousman Jabang, as well as forward Ariel Lassiter.

A total of 19 players remain under contract for the 2024 season: goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois, defenders Fernando Álvarez, George Campbell, Gabriele Corbo, Aaron Herrera, and Joel Waterman, midfielders Mathieu Choinière, Bryce Duke, Ilias Iliadis, Lassi Lappalainen, Samuel Piette, Nathan Saliba, Victor Wanyama and Rida Zouhir, as well as forwards Chinonso Offor, Mahala Opoku, Sunusi Ibrahim, Mason Toye and Jules-Anthony Vilsaint.

The Club will not exercise the contract options of goalkeeper James Pantemis, defender Zachary Brault-Guillard, midfielders Ahmed Hamdi and Sean Rea, as well as forwards Jean-Aniel Assi and Jojea Kwizera. Lastly, the contract of forward Romell Quioto expires at the end of 2023. The Club would like to thank all departing players.
