MONTREAL – CF Montréal has announced today the composition of its coaching staff that will lead the team through the end of the 2026 MLS season.
Philippe Eullaffroy will continue to serve as the Club’s caretaker manager. He initially assumed the role on April 12 after joining the Club as an assistant coach prior to the 2026 season.
“The mandate we initially entrusted to Philippe was defined as temporary while we conducted a thorough review and search for a permanent head coach,” said CF Montréal Managing Director, Recruitment and Sporting Methodology Luca Saputo. “Over this period of transition, he has provided stability, added structure, and instilled a competitive mindset within the group. After discussions with Philippe, we have extended his caretaker manager mandate through the end of this season.”
Serge Dinkota has joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Dinkota returns to the Club after previously serving as a coach within the CF Montréal Academy from 2014 to 2018.
Until recently, Dinkota held coaching roles within the Portland Timbers organization, serving as head coach of the U15 team (2018–2019) and U19 team (2019–2022), before becoming an assistant coach with the first team in 2023. He also served as head coach of the Portland Timbers 2 in MLS NEXT Pro (2024–2025).
Sylvain Hascoët will continue to serve as assistant coach through the end of the season. Hascoët joined the Club's Academy in 2023 and integrated the first team coaching staff on April 12.
