30,000 tickets sold for Wednesday’s game

30000

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that more than 30,000 tickets have been sold for the Champions League semifinal match versus Costa Rica’s L.D. Alajuelense, which will be played this Wednesday at 8pm at Olympic Stadium. There is no snow in the forecast so the match is expected to be played tomorrow night as scheduled.

Tickets for this historic game are available via http://marquonslhistoire.com and ticketmaster.ca (1-855-790-1245), as well as at the ticket offices of Stade Saputo and Olympic Stadium.

To meet the growing demand, it is now possible to purchase tickets in a few sections at the top level. Seats in sections 423 to 449 (odd-numbered sections and double letters only) will be available at the price of purple tickets, $25 (taxes included).

Following the last match against Pachuca, various measures have been taken by the Olympic Park to improve crowd access to the stadium, including by the 200 level. Also, more food concessions will be open.

Additional security measures have also been implemented for the illegal use of pyrotechnics within the walls of the stadium, since the elements used on March 3 had severe repercussions on stadium operations.

Since there are only 3,500 parking spots at Olympic Stadium, it is highly recommended that you use the metro (access via the Pie-IX station). For more information on how to get to Olympic Stadium: http://parcolympique.qc.ca/en/how-to-get-here/

The Impact also invites fans to arrive early to avoid traffic around Olympic Park and the queues to buy or pick up tickets, as well as at the entrance because of security procedures.

The club also invites supporters to wear blue in the stands to add to their contributions to the atmosphere.

It will be possible to pick up purchased tickets at Stade Saputo between 9am and 5pm, and then at Olympic Stadium as of 5pm.
