MONTREAL – In celebration of its final home game of the regular season at Stade Saputo, CF Montréal will host its annual game for its 12th player this Saturday, October 1 against D.C. United at 7:30pm.

Presented by BMO, the match will be accompanied by a multitude of on-site festivities to highlight the continued support of the Club’s 12th player throughout this season, which contributed to the team's playoff qualification and a guaranteed second-place finish in the Eastern Conference – a first in the Club's history.

To mark the occasion, official 2022 team posters will be handed out to the first 5,000 people who enter Stade Saputo as of 6pm.

In addition, during the match, 15$ promotional trios will be sold comprised of two hot dogs, a bag of chips and a soft drink. Hot chocolate will also be available for $4,75 at the 118, 128 and 135 concession stands.

BeaverTails, Gaspesia Bistro Le Spot, and Poutine & Cie food trucks will also be present on Saturday.

At halftime, presented by BMO, promotional items will be launched into the stands and 12 lucky fans will go home with a #FanFini gift bag during the match.

The start of the second half will also see a contest hosted by Alessandro Berselli – Vini d’Italia as one lucky row of fans at Stade Saputo will be invited to partake in a complimentary glass of wine at the Berselli bar under section 122.

On top of an exclusive 40% discount on all merchandise at the in-stadium boutique, fans looking for commemorative match items will also be able to take pictures with former club players Ali Gerba, Rocco Placentino and Eduardo Sebrango at the two photo booths located in the Soccer Celebration Zone under the East and West grandstands.

Also present in the Soccer Celebration Zone will be makeup artists, free of charge.

On May 22, CF Montréal returned the number 12 to its fans to highlight the importance and contribution of the Club's supporters, who remain the uncontested engines of Stade Saputo’s atmosphere and who provide an added energy to the 11 players on the pitch.

Following this match, CF Montréal will play the final fixture of its regular season on Sunday, October 9 in Miami as part of MLS Decision Day (TVA Sports, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690). All matches across the Eastern Conference will kick off simultaneously at 2:30pm to determine the final rankings for the 2022 MLS Playoffs.
