PROFESSIONAL
2018: Initially loaned to Ottawa Fury FC, in the USL, for the 2018 season, on March 20, before being called back by the Impact… Appeared in five regular season games, including two starts, and 249 minutes, in his second MLS season… Also started one Canadian Championship game and the Impact’s friendly game against Ottawa Fury FC, on September 7.

2017: Signed a Generation adidas Canada contract with MLS on January 4… Drafted in the second round by the Impact, 41st overall, at the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, on January 13… Made his MLS debut on October 22, against New England.

2016: Signed his first professional contract with the NASL’s FC Edmonton on February 12… Played 26 games, including 18 starts, and 1,654 minutes in his first NASL season… Started the NASL Playoff Semifinals game… Also started one Amway Canadian Championship game.

INTERNATIONAL
Took part in a Canadian U23 training camp in January 2018 before playing the prestigious Toulon Tournament in France, in June, with the U21 team… Finalist as Canadian U20 Player of the Year… Took part in three camps with the U20 national team in England, Costa Rica and Honduras in 2016… Also attended training camp in Panama with the U20 team in 2017… Also represented Canada with the U18 national team.

ACADEMY
Joined the FC Edmonton U18 team in 2013… Spent two years with the club’s academy before leaving for college.

COLLEGE
Named Canada West Rookie of the Year and selected on the Canada West Second team All-Stars after playing with the University of Alberta Golden Bears in 2015… Started all 12 of Alberta’s conference games, scoring six goals, including two game winners, and recording one assist.

YOUTH
Played for Edmonton Southwest United SC.

PERSONAL
Son of Manas and Nandita Shome… Has one sister, Epsita… Is currently majoring in electrical engineering.
