HomegrownKeita joined the CF Montréal Academy from Celtix du Haut‑Richelieu in July 2024. Last year, he helped the club’s U16 squad qualify for the MLS NEXT playoffs.
During the most recent season, Keita was invited to take part in first‑team training sessions at the age of 15. He received his first call‑up to the Club’s preseason camp in Marbella, Spain, this past January.
On February 6, 2026, Samsy Keita signed his first professional contract with the Club. The goalkeeper agreed to a deal covering the 2026, 2027, 2027‑28, and 2028‑29 seasons, with additional option years for 2029‑30 and 2030‑31.
On the international stage, Keita has represented Canada at the U16 and U17 levels. In November 2025, he was selected at age 16 to join the Canadian squad for the U‑17 World Cup in Qatar.
