The French defender suffered an injury to the Achilles tendon on Tuesday
French centre-back Zakaria Diallo will have surgery because of an Achille’s tendon injury suffered in training last Tuesday. He will be out for five to six months.
“It’s a rupture of the Achilles tendon,” said Impact head coach Rémi Garde. “He will have surgery quickly and won’t be available to play for five to six months. Now, we have to face adversity and find a solution. The group shows solidarity and I think we will want to give a good performance for him.”
The 31 year-old centre-back, born in Équemeauville, France, joined the Impact on January 9, 2018, from Stade Brestois, in Ligue 2.
