Over 1,000 Members and supporters met Impact executives and players Friday night
We’re back with a bang. Last Friday night, the Impact and its Members and supporters were all reunited for our annual season kickoff party. Over 1,000 people benefited from the Montreal squad’s short trip back home to see in the flesh this year’s players, and also to attend a Q&A session with Impact president Kevin Gilmore, head coach Rémi Garde, and administrative director of soccer operations Patrick Leduc. The club also revealed its brand new primary jersey, already available in stores and online here.
All in all, it was one of our great Friday nights in a long time, despite the weather. For a moment in time – that lasted almost two hours – we could feel that the 2019 season is almost here. In fact, we are less than three weeks away from the first game of the year, against the San Jose Earthquakes, on Saturday, March 2 at 10pm EDT (TVA Sports).
