Olympique Lyonnais head coach Rémi Garde and midfielder Yoann Gourcuff also met the media on Monday evening in a press conference in which they discussed about the progress of the game in North America. Gourcuff's father, Christian, had played for the Montreal Supra while Garde had played alongside Patrice Ferri, a French player who went to wear the Impact jersey, from 1993 to 1995.
