Every game, the Montreal Impact asks you, the supporters, to pick your Videotron Man of the Match through our mobile app. Now that the month of March is over, and four games are in the bank, let’s look at our internal standings and see who has impressed you the most over four games.
The way the standings work is simple. The Videotron Man of the Match is always a choice between three Impact players that are having a good game, and the winner is announced once the game is over.
For our standings, the winner of the Videotron Man of the Match earns five points, whoever finishes second gets two points, and the player who ends third gets one point. Considering the fact that our young Chilean forward, Jeisson Vargas, netted the game winner against Toronto and against Seattle in the Bleu-blanc-noir’s last two games, he takes a commanding lead in the month of March.

Standouts: Rod Fanni, who only played the Impact’s last two games, earned a second-place finish in both those games for his contributions in the Impact’s three-man defense. Ken Krolicki earned third place after his first ever professional game, after he was chosen by the Montreal Impact in the 2018 SuperDraft. Víctor Cabrera is having a great start to the season, and the Impact has now kept clean sheets in two straight games, against both of last year’s MLS Cup finalists.
