Every game, the Montreal Impact asks you, the supporters, to pick your Videotron Man of the Match through our mobile app. It’s always a choice between three Impact players that are having a good game, and the winner is announced once the game is over.
The Impact’s netminder, Evan Bush, stole the show in April, including an incredible performance during the Stade Saputo opener that saw him make 14 saves, a club record. He jumps to third in the standings with nine points.
Piatti continued his streak, earning his second Videotron Man of the Match honour after completing a hat-trick against LAFC. Chilean Jeisson Vargas remains in first with three first-place finishes, the latest coming after the game against the Red Bulls, in which he scored a spectacular free kick.
For our standings, the winner of the Videotron Man of the Match earns five points, whoever finishes second gets two points, and the player who finishes third gets one point.
