The Nutrilait player of the month, a program presented by Nutrilait, is an opportunity for Academy coaches to put forward and reward a player from the U14 and U15 group that distinguished himself, each month. The selection is based on athletic, academic and community criteria that tale into account the player’s efforts, progression, perseverance and involvement. Another important point is the player’s capacity to show initiative and leadership with different actions within the club or the community, all the while respecting the values of the Impact Academy.
The player of the month will have his photo displayed by the Centre Nutrilait locker rooms and will get a $200 gift card at Evangelista Sports.
U14 Nutrilait player of the month
Jordan Vezina
For the second month in the row Jordan was the most consistent player in the U14 group. He showed a lot of commitment in his preparation for the International tournament during practices and friendly games before the tournament. Another detail to mention is that more and more he showed signs of maturity and leadership qualities. Jordan finish the month really well as he had really good International tournament where he played really well, was the more consistent player on the group and was select the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Bravo Jordan et bonnes vacances !
U15 Nutrilait player of the month
Jean-Aniel Assi
Jean-Aniel spent the entire month of June with the U17 group and even took part in the playoffs in that age category. He quickly adapted to the higher level and he was able to use his dribbling qualities to create multiple scoring chances. Head coach Nicolas Gagnon had only good things to say regarding his performances and behaviour. This award is very deserved, and it reflects all the good work done by Jean-Aniel this year. Congrats Jean!
