Following last weekend’s 1-0 win in Seattle, things are already heating up for some Impact players as we begin the second round of the MLS Fantasy League.
Let’s have a look at some the Impact players that could make the difference this weekend in Portland… and help you reach top spot in the Impact supporters League.
Strong backline
You could start by picking anyone on the Impact backline.
All four defenders - Hassoun Camara, Matteo Ferrari, Alessandro Nesta and Jeb Brovsky - were tied for the second highest point totals by a defender in week one of fantasy league play with 8 points. Being valued at just $5 million or less ($4.5 for Brovsky), any of these players could be a good pick for the upcoming game.

Don’t forget goalkeeper Troy Perkins, who made the MLS Fantasy League all-star team of the week amassing nine points (tied for most - goalkeepers) while being valued at $5 million.
And if the Impact can repeat last week’s exploits and get a clean sheet on the road, you might end up with some very good numbers for your fantasy team.
Captain reliable
Valued at $7million, Impact midfielder and captain Davy Arnaud might give you the best bang for your buck this week, following his performance in Seattle. While it will be Arnaud’s first game in Portland, expect him to show the consistency he’s had throughout his 11-year career.
