Midfielder Bryan Arguez returns with the Impact

MONTREAL, Quebec – Midfielder Bryan Arguez returns to the Montreal Impact, following a loan stint that sent him to FC Edmonton of the North American Soccer League (NASL) back on July 9.


In 13 games (1,170 minutes of play), Arguez scored one goal and added an assist while being named Defensive Player of the Week in the NASL for week 19. FC Edmonton played its final game of the season last Sunday, finishing in last place in North America’s second division with five wins, 13 losses and 10 ties.


Arguez, who joined the Impact on November 24, 2011, took part in four MLS Reserve League games and one match with the Impact U21 team in the Canadian Soccer League.


In 2011, he played in 19 games (2,065 minutes of play) with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, helping the team reach the NASL playoff final.
