Guillaume Bouchard to represent CF Montréal
As part of the MLS All-Star Game in Washington, a unified Special Olympics match will take place on Wednesday, July 19 at 3pm!
Overall, 52 Unified team members will compete and represent 26 MLS clubs for an 11 vs. 11 competitive match. The teams, comprised of players with intellectual disabilities (Special Olympics athletes) and without intellectual disabilities (Unified partners), will be outfitted in authentic uniforms provided by adidas. MLS Greats will serve as celebrity coaches for the game.
The Unified Sports All-Star teams will be recognized on-field during the League’s All-Star Game, which is set for Wednesday, July 19 at 8 pm ET at D.C. United’s Audi Field.

Guillaume Bouchard - Special Olympics Athlete
Guillaume has been a Special Olympics athlete for nearly 10 years. He is dedicated and has a strong family spirit. His social and human relations skills make him a compassionate and supportive person. He is an outstanding teammate.
He began playing at the age of five on a local soccer team at his regional club, and continued to do so until he was 18. In parallel and starting in 2015, he began playing with the Special Olympics. Since 2017, he has been playing there full-time.
His favorite players are Samuel Piette, Mathieu Choinière and Jonathan Sirois, but he also loves Lionel Messi.
Guillaume is also a cook's helper in a daycare center.
Amélie Côté - Unified Partner
Amélie has been a volunteer with Special Olympics Quebec for nearly 10 years. She's a dynamic, genuine and open-minded person. She loves to help others and give them a hand, but above all to make them laugh and share her good humor.
She has mainly played at the local level and in the A competition. She has also taken part in a few technical camps and has been playing during the winter for the past few years. In high school, she was a member of the school futsal team. Now, she's playing senior A. She has also been a volunteer and accompanying athlete for about eight years.
She likes Samuel Piette and Mathieu Choinière, and on the international scene, she loves Lionel Messi.
Alexandre Bourdeau - Chaperone
Like Guillaume and Amélie, Alexandre shares the same passion for soccer. He's dedicated to helping young athletes develop their social and technical skills through sport. He's friendly, energetic and genuine.
Since the age of 4, he has played organized soccer at CSR. At 17, he left to play in Longueuil. He spent three of his best years as a player. He also played at college level at Cégep de Champlain in St-Lambert.
