MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced that forward Kenny Cooper underwent successful surgery to his right knee.
Cooper suffered the injury on May 13 in Toronto, during the first half against Toronto FC, in the first game of the Amway Canadian Championship semi-final series.
He is expected to be out a few months.
