Once again this year, Montreal Impact defender Karl W. Ouimette will take part in the Leucan shaved head challenge, shaving his hair this Sunday, June 1st at the Galeries de Terrebonne to raise money for Leucan.
It is a cause that the Quebec-born player has held close to his heart for several years, in particular because his sister has been living with illness since the age of eight. The shaved head challenge supports children who have to live with changes to their body image due to hair loss from chemotherapy treatment. It also raises funds for families with children who suffer from cancer, as well as provides funding for research.
