The Montreal Impact has embraced the experience in Italy so far, enjoying some of the finer things the country has to offer, all the while training at the highest level.
Defender Jeb Brovsky feels that this post season camp is a great learning experience.
“I’ve made strides as a professional player this season and I felt my game has improved,” said the versatile defender. “I am trying to learn as much as I can from guys like Nesta and Di Vaio on the pitch in order to continue my progression as a pro because I want to always improve on my game. Playing against these Serie A teams, you get to see things different styles and levels, something I will take with me for my wholes career.”
They are also using it as a means to learn more about life.
Forward Andrew Wenger was overheard making plans to visit the Duomo Museum in Florence, most famously known for housing Michelangelo's unfinished Pieta and the Gateway to Paradise.
Wenger and his teammate Bryan Arguez, as well as other players, have been trying to learn the language.
