The Montreal Impact is working on a one-year loan of defender Zarek Valentin to Norwegian second division club FK Bodø/Glimt. The loan will be finalized once the deal is signed following Valentin’s physical, who is currently in Norway.
Valentin, 21, has not seen the field in 2013 with the Impact in regular season play. Last season, he played 15 games for 1,116 minutes.
This loan will give the U.S. native playing time and experience overseas.
