After last weekend’s games were cancelled, the three Impact teams in the Development Academy are finally back in action this weekend, in the state of Massachusetts.
Saturday, against FC Greater Boston Bolts’ teams, the U15 will play at 3:30pm, the U17 at 5:30am and the U19 at 7:45pm. The day after, against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium, the U15 will play at 10am, the U17 at 12:30pm and the U19 at 3pm.
The Impact U15 has a 8-4-0 record and is currently second of its group, behind the Revs. The U17 team is also second of its group with a 9-4-1 record, while the U19 team is first of its group, with a 11-1-2 record.

Head-to-head
These are the first games between the Impact and FC Greater Boston Bolts this season. Last year, the Bleu-blanc-noir’s U18 and U16 teams each had a win and a draw against the club from Massachusetts.
Against New England, the Impact’s teams won all of their games at the beginning of the season, by scores of 3-0 (U15), 5-2 (U17) and 5-2 (U19).

FC Greater Boston Bolts’ U15 team has a 4-4-5 record this season, while the U17 team has a 7-5-3 record and the U19 team a 6-5-4 record.
For the New England Revolution, its U15 team has a 8-3-1 record, sitting just on top of the Impact in the standings. The U17 group has a 2-10-2 record and the U19 team has a 6-7-1 record.
About the New England Revolution Academy
The New England Revolution Academy was founded in 2008. Three players from its first team were developed in its academy: Diego Fagundez, signed in 2010, Scott Caldwell, promoted in 2012, and Zachary Herivaux, signed in 2015.
The younger players part of the Revolution academy train in Franklin, Massachusetts, on the fields of Dean College. That’s also where they live. Their Development Academy home games are either played at the Bayside FC Facility, in East Providence, or, like this weekend, at Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough.
About FC Greater Boston Bolts Academy
The FC Greater Boston Bolts Academy, in Massachusetts, has roots in the whole state, as well as in New Hampshire and Rhode Island, with teams ranging from the U8 to U19 age groups.
If most of its athletes get scholarships into NCAA programs, this academy has also developed players that went on to have a professional playing career. Miles Robinson (Atlanta United FC) and Diego Fagundez (before joining the Revolution Academy) are on this list of players.
