Bleu-blanc-noir creating more quality scoring chances
The drought is over. After four games without scoring, the Impact has found the back of the net in recent games, which has led to it gaining nine out of a possible 12 points. The timing couldn’t be better, as the Bleu-blanc-noir prepares to host Sporting Kansas City at Stade Saputo, this Saturday at 7pm (TICKETS – TVA Sports, TSN, 98,5fm, TSN Radio 690), when the temperature could soar up to 41 degrees Celsius.
In its last four games, Montreal created eight very good scoring chances, while adding thirty other ones of lesser quality. It’s a striking contrast to the dismal sequence of four straight losses in May, when the Impact earned 50 scoring chances, but only two of excellent quality.
It’s obvious that the Bleu-blanc-noir’s offense is more incisive as of late, but also more realist: since the Houston Dynamo’s visit to Stade Saputo, the Impact is scoring on 16% of its shots to the opposing net, which promises another good matchup at Olympic Park this Saturday. Will you be there?
