The newest Impact Art poster for this Saturday against Philadelphia Union stars full back Ambroise Oyongo. Romain Lasser is the artist putting forth this drawing of the Cameroon international.
“Being an illustrator to begin with, I wanted to reinterpret pictures of Ambroise in a stencil style to tone down the traits and put forward a more illustrative side to the poster. I used simplicity as well as the weight of the ink to suggest strength and action.”
Always drawn in black in white, Oyongo is here in three forms. The stencil impression gives a definite urban style to this image of Montreal’s #2.
