After taking part in the 0-0 draw against Paraguay as a substitute (67’), Johan Venegas remained on the bench for the heavy 4-0 loss to the Americans. Los Ticos will now need a favourable result in the game between Paraguay and the USA while beating by a good margin the Colombians to keep any hope of reaching the Copa América quarterfinals.

Belgian international Laurent Ciman scored his first goal for his country, a winning goal furthermore, in his 11th cap for the Red devils against Norway. Coming on for Jason Denayer in the 66th minute, Ciman put his name on the scoresheet only seven minutes later to give Belgium a 3-2 lead in their last pre-Euro friendly. He also played a part in the 2-1 win against Switzerland.
Ambroise Oyongo helps Cameroon qualify for 2017 African Cup of Nations

Wing back Ambroise Oyongo twice played 90 minutes for the Lions Indomptables in Cameroon’s last two international games. He had a good game against France in Nantes, a prestigious affair that ended in a 3-2 loss, a few days before helping his country qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations thanks to a 1-0 win against Mauritania.
