For Decision Day, all ten games will be played at the same time, making it difficult for fans to follow everything that is going on.
The paragraph above could have been written in 1997, however. Keeping up with all the MLS action, this Sunday at 4pm, will be child’s play, #becauseits2016. Here is how.
IMFC Live
If you live in the Greater Montreal Area, join us at the last IMFC Live viewing party of the regular season! As you will sit alongside passionate Impact fans that most certainly have the MLS app installed on their mobile devices, word about goals scored elsewhere in MLS (pay attention to the game between Orlando City SC and D.C. United!) will spread quickly enough. And, of course, you’ll be able to follow the match between the New England Revolution and the Impact on a massive screen thanks to…
TVA Sports
Broadcast partner TVA Sports will show the Impact game live. Whether you choose to attend the IMFC Live party or to stay at home, Frédéric Lord, Vincent Destouches and Nicolas A. Martineau will provide you with updates on the other nine games.
Radio
If you’re caught on the road or stuck in a TV-less office, tune in to TSN Radio 690 or 98,5fm. Both will broadcast the game, and on the play-by-play, Rick Moffat and Grant Needham, as well as Jeremy Filosa and Arcadio Marcuzzi, will let you know what’s happening in other MLS stadiums.
MLS Live
If you stay home, you can watch multiple games at once. Of course, we recommend that you tune in to TVA Sports on Sunday, but MLS Live is a must-have on Decision Day. While your TV shows the Impact game, you can display as many as three games simultaneously on your computer screen with MLS Live’s one-day pass for only $7.99. Usual blackout policies apply.
At Gillette Stadium
The Revolution is expecting roughly 40,000 fans for Sunday’s game – including the kind, talented and quite handsome Impact Media team. Join in on the fun; the Ultras Montréal and 1642MTL supporter groups are both going on an away trip. Given that the Revs need a miracle of their own and a favourable result in Philadelphia to have a chance to clinch a playoff berth, the PA announcer, the scoreboards and the other supporters – as well as your phone, if your plan allows for it – will keep you in the loop of what’s happening elsewhere. Only a few spots remain on the buses. Book yours ASAP!
