They who manage their team well are rewarded. That’s true for MLS head coaches, and it’s also true for MLS Fantasy players.
The game is rather straightforward: in your wallet sit $100 million that you invest each week – you get unlimited transfers between rounds – to create your 15-player squad: two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards.
You must then create your starting XI (with a generally recognized formation, so no playing 2-5-3, all right?), select a team captain and drop four players to the bench. Your starters will pick up points – double points for your captain – according to their on-field performance; rewarded and penalized plays, along with the full rules, are available on the MLS Fantasy site, here.
Join the official Montreal Impact league, and you could bring home a $200 MLS Store gift card! Challenging your fellow Impact supporters is easy peasy. Simply go to fantasy.mlssoccer.com and click on Start Playing. You’ll then be asked to log onto the MLS Network or to create an account. And when the Fantasy platform asks you to select your favourite team, you know what to do.
