Supporters will be pleased to know that there will be a new configuration at Olympic Stadium for Impact games in 2014.
The field will be shifted closer to supporters, located behind the goal, by 15 metres. As a result, spectators will have a better view of the field for the team’s first three home games.
The Impact will host the Seattle Sounders FC on March 22, the New York Red Bulls on April 5 and the Chicago Fire on April 12.
Since 2012, the impact has a record of four wins, one loss and two draws in seven MLS regular season matchups at Olympic Stadium. The average attendance over the seven games is 35,235 spectators.
