MONTREAL – For its final home game of the season, CF Montréal will take on Nashville SC at Stade Saputo at 2:30pm EDT (MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).
The Bleu-blanc-noir is fresh from its biggest victory of the season, a 4-1 result on the road to Charlotte FC last Saturday. Dante Sealy scored his first brace in MLS, Fabian Herbers netted his 20th MLS goal and Prince Owusu tied Nacho Piatti’s record for most goals scored on the road in one season with nine.
CF Montréal holds a 1-6-3 record (6 goals for, 16 goals against) against Nashville SC along with a 1-2-1 record (1 goal for, 2 goals against) when playing at home.
The Club will attempt to grab its 100th MLS win at Stade Saputo since it joined the league in 2012. Montreal’s current record in MLS at Stade Saputo since its very first MLS game hosted on June 16, 2012, a 4-1 win over Seattle Sounders FC, is 99-65-36.
In its first full season under head coach B.J. Callaghan, Nashville SC is currently in 6th place of the Eastern Conference with 53 points. Last Wednesday, the club from Tennessee won the first trophy in franchise history with a 2-1 win over Austin FC in the US Open Cup final. In MLS play, Nashville is currently in the midst of a five-game losing skid away from home.
Fans in attendance will have the chance to take in a pregame performance by Loud on the Sirius XM stage located under section 124. The four-time Félix award winning rapper will be performing at 1:30pm. For the occasion, the Stade Saputo gates will open at 12:30pm.
