Nacho Piatti dominates and his teammates answer the call

How good does it feel to be back on the winning track, and at home on top of it? The Impact kicked off its busy week the right way, as it gets set to visit the Windy City, Wednesday night at 8:30pm, for a game against the Fire (TVA Sports, 98.5fm, TSN Radio 690) before coming home to host the Philadelphia Union, Saturday at 3pm (TICKETS – TVA Sports, CTV, 98,5fm, TSN Radio 690).

Every single Impact goal on Saturday afternoon was scored by the trio of forwards chosen by head coach Rémi Garde: Anthony Jackson-Hamel got a brace, Raheem Edwards scored his second goal with the Impact, and Nacho Piatti was majestic, adding a fifth goal to his tally and spoiling his teammates with three assists. But like Garde said, success is earned as a team, and it is important to highlight the work done in midfield and in defense. Usually, when a team scores four goals, it’s because everyone played well; that was certainly the case against the Revs. Here are your advanced stats.
