Laurent Courtois' squad will be aiming for a second consecutive win on Atlanta's turf, following an important 2-1 victory on October 2. The team will be out for revenge, having met Atlanta in the 2024 MLS Cup playoffs. The Montrealers were eliminated in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw.
New CF Montréal recruits: Experience and talent in the spotlight for the coming season
CF Montréal brought in a host of new recruits during the off-season. Among them, German veterans Fabian Herbers and Prince Owusu have injected experience into the squad. Promising defender Jalen Neal, a reigning MLS Cup champion with LA Galaxy, as well as prolific striker and former Juventus star Giacomo Vrioni, have also joined the Montrealers this season.
