Husqvarna will plant 100 trees per goal scored
Husqvarna Canada Inc., the Montreal Impact’s official and exclusive lawn partner, is working with One Tree Planted to see through its commitment that promised 100 trees to be planted for every goal scored by the three MLS Canadian teams during the 2017 season. Thanks to every goal scored by the Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada will have 17,600 more trees.
Husqvarna will therefore be planting 5,200 of those trees in Quebec in April and May, thanks to the 52 goals scored by the Montreal Impact during the 2017 season.
This initiative’s goal was to support Canadian soccer with the belief of conducting business with respect for nature, all part of its commitment to taking social and environmental responsibility.
Husqvarna Canada Inc. and the Montreal Impact have been partners since 2016.
