It is most definitely playing in the Coupe de France youth tournament (Gambardella Cup) with Angers SCO, in 2007. We made it to the round of 16, but were beaten by FC Nantes.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
It is my daughter, Lea. She makes me so proud and I live wonderful moments with her each and every day.
WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING YOU VISITED IN QUEBEC?
It was Saputo Stadium. As soon as I arrived last summer, I was given a tour of the facilities. It is a great complex. The ambiance during games provides you with good motivation to give all you got on the field.
WHAT IS THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLAYING SOCCER HERE AND IN FRANCE?
“Football” has a long history in France, while soccer is pretty new here. However, it is developing very quickly thanks to infrastructures of the highest levels. The playing style is similar, but in France the flow is a little more organized. Here, we play to move the ball forward a little quicker. This difference will become negligible very soon.

WHERE WOULD YOU GO ON YOUR DREAM VACATION?
I’ve had the chance to travel a lot, but I have never been to Brazil and I’d love to visit.
WHAT WOULD YOUR IDEAL DAY BE LIKE?
The day would begin with practice in the morning with my teammates. Then, a siesta in the afternoon, followed by some shopping with the family. Finally, a nice dinner in the evening, followed by watching a good movie with my wife.
