Two new heroes for children with cancer!

These two public figures have now joined the ranks of the 40,000 Quebecers who have had their head shaved to support cancer-stricken children since the beginning of this great adventure!

To draw emphasis on their courage and audacity, they were joined by Richard Legendre, Executive Vice-President of opthe Montreal Impact and Saputo Stadium; Alain Champagne of McKesson Canada, Honorary President for the Challenge in Montreal-Laval; local Child Spokespersons Adam Martino and Luca Ruccolo; and our Provincial Spokesperson for a second consecutive year, Annie Villeneuve.

“I am so proud to get involved once again in this wave of solidarity known as the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge and to rub shoulders with all those heroes," said Annie Villeneuve. "I take my hat off to those heroes on behalf of all of Leucan’s children and families!”

More than 40 shaving sites will be opened throughout the province, mostly on Sunday, June 12, in addition to the challenges held in companies, educational institutions and organizations. You can all be heroes for children with cancer by taking on the Challenge, by sponsoring a participant or by spreading the information about the Challenge: shavedheadchallenge.com. You can also join Leucan’s big family by following the Shaved Head Challenge on Facebook and Twitter!
