Three CF Montréal Academy players called up by Canada's U-17 team

MONTREAL – CF Montréal Academy players Alessandro Biello, Gaël De Montigny and Étienne Godin have been called up by the Canadian U-17 team for a training camp in Sao Paolo, Brazil, from September 24 to October 2.

This training camp, ahead of the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup, will include two matches against Brazil’s U-17 team.

Alessandro Biello, 17-year-old midfielder, joined the organization through the CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2014. Gaël De Montigny, a 17-year-old defender, joined the CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2016. Étienne Godin, also a 17-year-old defender joined the Academy in 2020 from CS Mont-Royal Outremont.

The three players currently play with CF Montréal’s reserve squad in the semi-professional provincial league Ligue1 Québec.
