FC Montreal took advantage of a snowy day on Wednesday to do a team bonding activity – an outdoors one, at Mount Avila in the Laurentians, where the team went tubing.
If the players didn’t know what to expect at first, they were all smiles as they went down the slopes in tubes, hanging on to each other.
“It was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it,” said winger Samuel Duffek. “It brought a certain chemistry and we can build on this for our first game.”
The technical staff also took part in the activity.
Last year, the USL team hiked Mount Washington during the season with a similar goal.
At least once a year, Philippe Eullaffroy’s team does this type of activity and always keeps team spirit in mind.
This team bonding activity happened during FC Montreal’s preseason. The team will start its second USL season on March 25 at 7pm, at the Olympic Stadium, against Bethlehem Steel FC.
