MONTREAL – The Canadian Soccer Association has invited seven U14 Montreal Impact players to a national identification camp in Toronto, from November 14 to 17. Only players born in 2002 are eligible to the camp.
Goalkeeper Benjamin Collins (previous club: Ottawa Royals Futuro), defender Maxime Bourgeois (previous club: Cosmos de Granby) and midfielders Connor Manuel (previous club: Halifax City), Junior Kabwe (previous club: AS Saint-Hyacinthe), Sean Rea (previous club: Saint-Léonard), Gabriel Lauture (previous club: Mascouche) and Nicolas Desjardins (previous club: Blainville) will represent the Bleu-blanc-noir.
“It’s a good opportunity for these players to show their qualities to the national team technical staff,” said Academy Director Philippe Eullaffroy. “It’s also a reward for their daily work and performances.”
