Forward Ali Gerba scored twice in the first half, each time on a decisive pass from midfielder Anthony LeGall. Defender Hicham Aaboubou scored the third goal of the match in the 71st minute, heading the corner of newcomer Luke Kreamalmeyer. Forward Reda Agourram scored the fourth goal of the game in the 80th minute, after accepting the cross from defender Richard Pelletier.
“I’m satisfied with today’s match. The objective was to give rhythm to the players,” said Impact head coach Marc Dos Santos. We had the chance to simulate what we have practiced so far at camp. And winning is always good for the confidence, even in February.”
