Sanon, Choinière and Meilleur-Giguère invited to Canada U18 training camp

MONTREAL – Three members of the Impact U16 team have been invited to take part in the first Canadian National Team camp under U20 new head coach Rob Gale, announced the Canadian Soccer Association on Thursday.


Impact midfielders Jimmy-Shammar Sanon (see photo above, left) and David Choinière (middle), along with defender Thomas Meilleur-Giguère (right) are part of an 18-man roster that will travel to Ventura, California, for an eight day camp, from April 4 to 11, which will include two international friendlies versus the U.S. and Mexico.


The U18 camp is in preparation for the 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, which serves as the qualifier for the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015.
