Round table with the IMFC Academy graduates

Table Ronde Academie

The 2014 MLS season may have ended with the retirement of the club’s first ever Designated Player in legend Marco Di Vaio, but it also brought opportunity for some of its young players to gain invaluable experience, most specifically, the eight former members of the club’s Academy.

As the regular season came to a close, the Impact finished with the highest number of Homegrown players on its official roster across the entire league. With the announcement of a new training facility and a USL Pro team earlier this year, the future looks even brighter for the Impact’s youth system.

Impact Media and TVA Sports sat down with all eight former Academy players currently with the first team in a round table discussion on their first experiences as pros in MLS.
