A teams success depends largely on the quality of its players, its fan base but also on the corporate support it receives, said Montreal Impact president Joey Saputo. I would like to thank Réno-Dépôt for their support and vision. It is with great pride that we welcome them on board as a major partner.
Réno-Dépôts partnership with the Impact is especially exciting because it combines practicality with fun. Its sure to be a success all the way down the line in terms of earning visibility for Réno-Dépôt and enhancing the pride of our employees across Quebec, explained David Giguère, vice-president of Business Development Strategy for RONA and executive in charge of the Réno-Dépôt banner.
Réno-Dépôt will have its company logo on the team socks, a first in Impact history. The company will also be associated with the Impact soccer schools, which will take place this summer at the Catalogna Soccerplexe and at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, under the supervision of Impact players Darko Kolic and Patrick Leduc.
…AND LAUNCH OF 2005 SEASON TICKET CAMPAIGN
The Montreal Impact also launched its 2005 season ticket campaign under the theme Champions in action. For the fourth consecutive year, the club did not increase the prices of individual tickets.
Even after a championship, our commitment to our fans remains the same: to offer high-level soccer at an affordable price, said Impact president Joey Saputo. That is why once again, we did not touch our ticket prices.
However, to better serve its fans, the Impact now offers five season ticket packages: four in the reserved section and a youth pass in general admission for children under the age of 18, at the advantageous price of $20.
New this season, the central area of the grand stand is now divided into three categories: Presidents Club ($750), Prestige ($400) and Gold ($200). One month before the beginning of the season, the Presidents Club and Prestige sections were already sold-out. The club also offers a five games mini-season package in reserved seating for $85.
With an average crowd of 9,279 fans per game in 2004, a new team record and an all-time record of 13,648 spectators at the championship final, the club also announced that 1,000 extra seats behind the net, on the south side of the field, will remain in place all season long. This increases the stadiums capacity to 9,500 seats.
