MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact Academy announced on Monday that the registration period for the Pre-Academy program’s tryouts – U8 to U12, players born in 2007 to 2011 – has begun. The tryouts will take place over two stages, from February 9 to February 16, 2019. The registration cost is $60 plus taxes.

The first tryout stage will take place on February 9 and 10, 2019, at the Complexe sportif Marie-Victorin. The best players will be selected for the next round which will take place on February 16, 2019.
After that round, the selected players will integrate into the Pre-Academy.
The Pre-Academy season is spread over three periods. From mid-April to the end of October, players train outdoors, at Centre Nutrilait. From November to mid-December, the players go through a transition period with futsal training. Finally, the beginning of January to the end of March consists of a mixed period, where players have futsal practices and practices on the field.
