Ignacio “Nacho” Piatti, the Impact’s first ever number 10 in MLS, arrived in Montreal this morning and was greeted by some members of the media after a long 16 hour voyage from Buenos Aires.
“I am really excited and hopefully I can play this Saturday,” he said in both Spanish and Italian. “I’ll have to speak to the coach, but I feel good and would like to help this team on the pitch as soon as possible.”
The Argentine will officially be introduced to all members of the media tomorrow, in a press conference following his first training session with his new team.
